Allium is probably one of the most decorative flowers. It represents happiness and prosperity. Its globe-shaped blooms are gigantic in size and reach up to 15 centimeters in diameter. Mostly they are pink to purple and are comprised of hundreds of densely packed individual flowers. Now and then, white-flowered varieties also occur. But no matter what color the flower, allium exudes a delicate fragrance.
