Zodiac signs and horoscopes have been around for a long time. But 5000 years ago, astrologers were not asked for advice on matters of love.

Today, we read horoscopes to predict a happy love life or professional success. About 5000 years ago, astrologers and priests studied the constellations of the stars to determine a favorable date for sowing or to predict the outcome of battles.

In those days, of course, such services were reserved for rulers. Ordinary mortals had no access to them. Around 500 B.C., celestial experts from Mesopotamia and Greece finally worked closely together and divided the sun's orbit into twelve sectors of equal size: the signs of the zodiac.
